B&B Dolcevita - Pompei

Ein ganz toller, netter Vermieter, der wirklich immer gute Tipps gibt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei.

Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße hin und war leider ein bisschen laut.

Das B&B ist zentral gelegen. Zu den Ausgrabungen kann man sehr gut zu Fuss gehen. Salvatore hat uns freundlich empfangen und uns viele Ausflugtipps gegeben. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet. Wir können das B&B Dolce Vita wirklich empfehlen.

Der Strassenlärm.

Salvatore hilft in jeder Situation und kennt sich hervorragend aus. Immer freundlich, immer ansprechbar.

Unübertroffener Service, ganz toller Betreiber, authentische Empfehlungen, 6 von 5 möglichen Sternen! Das Hotel liegt in Pompei sehr zentral und ist gut erreichbar, 1 min. von der Circumvesuviana entfernt. Die Zimmer sind recht groß, schön eingerichtet und ohne Zweifel sauber. Alles in allem eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Zimmer gegen die Strasse leider etwas lärmig

Our host, Salvatore, was the most helpful host we'd ever met. Every request was answered promptly and he was a wealth of information regarding the various sights and museums in and around the Pompeii/Vesuvius region. Breakfast was a delight on his rooftop terrace and he brought us fresh picked grapes from his garden!

Great location - close to station and easy to find. Individually styled rooms and very clean. Excellent cappuccinos for breakfast! Salvatore a real character and full of useful information. Great base for exploring Pompei ruins, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Naples. A very enjoyable stay.

The Dolcevita is in a great location. It was easy to find, the car park was pretty close by (5 euros a day) and we were ten minutes from the main Pompeii site. The beautiful piazza is just around the corner and we found a great restaurant just off one of the roads from it. Salvatore was as friendly and helpful as all the other reviews have mentioned, and his cappucino'S..'Salvatore's numero uno capuccino' were delicious..and despite the weather we managed breakfast on the rooftop 'garden' both mornings. He was very helpful, and we bought tickets for the tram/bus trip to Vesuvio directly from him...note, if you do do this, please be aware that it hurtles along the motorway and the bench seats are not very comfortable...it is also open-sided, which is probably great in the heat, but we were there the week it decided to rain. The room was pretty and very clean.

We had a triple room and the third bed wasn't very comfortable. You should also be aware that, although on what seems to be quite a small road, it is actually quite busy and, therefore, noisy at night.

Our host Salvatore was very hospitable, despite language barriers he booked a trip to Vesuvius for us, he found out where we were to catch the bus I had booked to Rome, On the morning of our departure, as we were too early for breakfast, Salvatore packed a picnic for us. He was very friendly and helpful. The B&B has great location just 5 minutes from the entrance to the Pompei ruins, and the square at Pompei is just around the corner. Thank You Salvatore

Salvadore was an angel! Very friendly and helpful! His breakfasts are legendary and prepared fresh squeezed orange juices with the oranges from his gardens

Shower cubicle was a bit small

We stayed two nights with a family of four. Salvatore was very warm and hospitable! He made us feel like family and the room was clean with ample room for four. Breakfast was delicious! Must try Salvatore's home grown orange juice!! I would highly recommend this B&B for your Pompei stop. Make sure you visit Giuseppe at the "vege deli" across the street for great food and service at a great price! Dolce Vita #1!!!!! We had two new friends in Italy!

We had a small, but comfortable room with a nice view of the sea. Very quiet. It is very conveniently located, close to the Hercolanium ruins and the train. Breakfast on the terrace was typical Italian fare, fresh and tasty. The staff was very helpful. They suggested a restaurant Tubacatuba, about 1/2 km away on the same street. Treated really well there with excellent, inexpensive food. The town is quite dirty, but we felt totally safe when we walked around. Many TV channels, only Italian. We found the same everywhere in this region. Different from northern Italy .... that's life! We would return to I Papiri.

The Dolcevita is an excellent place to stop and explore Pompei, the owner is so accommodating and can not do enough to make your stay as pleasant an experience as he can. Breakfasts were good and if you wanted something different he would go out of his way to make sure you had it. It was just off the main street, os it was nice and quiet at night times, the room was very comfortable and very big. He arranged a tour yo Vesuvius for us and the bus picked us up directly from the b&b which was great, gave us so much information on the best places to see in the area. Good man.

The location as far as attractions were concerned was great not far from the ruins and the town for restaurants and coffee bars and super Ice Cream - but the approach to the hotel can be a little of putting especially after a long journey. Please do not let it be, the host and the rooms by far make up for its external appearance.

This b&b is fantastic. The owner and operator Salvatore is very friendly and truly enjoys running this business. He aims to please with everything he does. Breakfast is simple but delicious and varied, plus you enjoy eating on the sunny roof. The location is great. It's just around the corner from the train station and about 15 minutes walk from the ruins main entrance. We cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Really great value.

The most fantastic place we have ever stayed, beds more comfortable than home, Salvatore was kind and friendly, hotel very clean, well-run and very comfortable, facilities excellent, all local information provided, cannot recommend highly enough, truly excellent hotel, good location in town.
